Taija Rae / Dangerous Stuff

noodl3senpai  asked:
Any of the always lovely taija rae?

Rae, a native of Philadelphia, entered the adult film industry in 1983. The first part of her stage name, pronounced Tayzh-a, came from a cocktail waitress she worked with before porn. The last name, Rae, was a tribute to Fay Wray, actress in the movie King Kong. After a test photo shoot in New York City, she quickly made the rounds of the New York adult industry. Her first films were Dangerous Stuff and Scenes They Wouldn’t Let Me Shoot, filmed the same weekend.

She became known for her rounded, softer figure, wide hips, and large, natural breasts with big, dark red nipples. In 1986, she changed her appearance by losing weight and dying her hair blonde, and began doing more work through a West Coast agent. With this, she reached the height of her success, when Hustler magazine referred to her as one of “porn’s Big Four” (along with Traci Lords, Ginger Lynn, and Amber Lynn). She was proud of being able to charge $1,000 per day for her roles.

She maintained her home in Pennsylvania, sometimes flying out to the West Coast to film scenes, until finally moving to Los Angeles, California in 1988. Rae left the adult film business in 1993. Fans report seeing her working as a hostess at a restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cara Lott / Career Pornstar

anonymous asked: Cara Lott is not on your list of models. Do you have some of her? Many years ago, she performed naked at ShowWorld in NYC.

Cara Lott was born in Huntington Beach, CA and grew up in a middle-class neighborhood. Her career in adult entertainment started when she was 18, when she asked a friend to take some pictures of her in lingerie. Lott sent the pictures in to Hustler and soon afterwards was selected to pose and be the centerfold for the December 1981 issue. After signing with a modeling agency, she began shooting for nude magazines and soon afterwards, acting in adult films.

After 1991, Lott took a break from films to go back to college to complete her degree in Health Sciences.

She came back to the adult industry to make six more films in 1997–98. She made a total of about 300 movies by this point.

In January 2005, she became once again active in the adult film industry as a “40+ model” and takes roles as a “MILF” actress and have appeared on the cover and in the pages of both Girls Over Forty and Forty Something magazines. In January 2006, she was inducted into both the AVN Hall of Fame and the Legends of Erotica Hall of Fame.
